Gates Field can accommodate up to 2,500 people; 100 in 1500 square feet of press boxes located
directly behind home plate at the field level, 700 in individual seating that is covered, and the remainder
on grass surrounding the field. The facilities also include an indoor batting cage, concession stand,
restrooms, umpire dressing rooms and equipment storage.

Gates Field is a $2.5 million dollar "major-league quality" baseball field and
facility. Located at Kearns High School in Kearns, Utah, the field's purpose is
to promote amateur sports competition through development and training of young
amateur athletes for national and/or international competition in baseball. The
field will also provide high-quality training and instruction by well-qualified
coaches. Gates Field was built in 2004 through a generous donation by Kevin
Gates, the founder of New Freedom Mortgage and a native of Kearns.
